Keep the Latest iPhone 7 Safe from Danger

After much speculation, Apple has finally unveiled the specs of the new iPhone 7 Plus, and the features offered with this upgrade are impressive. On the outside, it bears a striking resemblance to the 6s, but that’s where the similaritiesends. One of the changes is the newly water-resistant coating. It won’t protect the phone from an extended dip in the pool, but it will save it from an accidental drenching in the rain. Another upgrade is the static home button. Up to this point, all iPhone home buttons need to be clicked. The 7 Plus’ is pressure sensitive and includes haptic feedback. Another change-up and perhaps the most noticeable is the new A10 processor, which makes the 7 Plus the fastest and most efficient iPhone on the market.

It helps that it comes with as much as 256GB of storage, which lets you download all of your favorite apps and store all of your attempts at selfies easily without any annoying “storage almost full” messages. That will come in handy once you get used to the updated 12-megapixel camera, which has been tweaked to have an f/1.8 aperture that supports improved zooming capabilities and optical image stabilization. All in all, you’ll be taking clearer, brighter selfies and videos (4K videos at that) even while in low-light settings.

While it’s offered in 2 new colors, they aren’t anything to write home about. The Jet Black and Black (the only difference between the two being the sheen on the Jet Black model) aren’t really options to be impressed about as they lack the capacity for customization. For those who are looking for ways to individualize the look of their Plus there are always skins or decals. With a decal iPhone 7 Plus owners can wrap their device in colors and/or textures that aren’t typically offered by Apple, especially when they look for skins from companies like dbrand. iPhone 7 Plus skins from dbrand come in a variety of true colors like blue, green, yellow, and purple that are complemented with just as many finishes like stone, carbon fiber, metal, leather, and wood.

The stylish addition of a decal isn’t just a fashion statement — the extra layer that it provides forms a protective covering around the iPhone. Though the average skin is only 0.23 millimeters thick it saves the surface of your phone from sharp objects that can easily take a bite out of your Plus, like keys, pens, and change. If you’ve chosen the Jet Black option, which Apple has admitted is scuffed and scratched easilydue to its glossy surface, you’ll be especially grateful for this barrier.

With its 12 hours of LTE browsing chances are you’ll be bringing your phone out more often and for longer, which means it will see more wear and tear than your previous cells. Luckily a simple addition of an iPhone 7 Plus decal will save its good looks from everyday hazards, which means you’ll be able to experience more of the Apple’s latest generation without worrying about ruining it.
